After graduating from the University of South Carolina, I served as a consultant to USC on a project to document and preserve the last remaining building of Booker T. Washington High School, an African-American high school in operation from 1916-1974. The project won the 2014 Preservation/Restoration Award as well as a New Construction in a Historic Context Award from Historic Columbia Foundation.
